Overview: The Business Analyst will be part of a larger project solutions team responsible for defining solutions for projects within the Mobile space. Solutions will span ordering, customer service, billing, finance and other related areas. To be successful in this role the applicant will need to be able to work with technical resources and understand technical issues and then translate and simplify those technical issues into functional issues that business stakeholders are able to base decisions on. The ideal candidate will have a good functional background in the mobile/wireless space and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. The candidate does not need to be technical but they will need to be able to work with and understand team members that are primarily focused in the technical space.
Required Skillsets
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis in the mobile/wireless domain
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
- Proven ability to take complex issues and summarize/simplify the issue and associated business impact
- Must be very detail oriented and ability to manage/prioritize tasks for yourself and others
- Demonstrated ability to ask probing questions to drive out issue root cause and/or requirement/solution gaps
- Demonstrated background in process development and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions within project teams
- Background in the mobile customer care, ordering and billing platforms
- Background in MSO/Cable a plus
