The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting Shift4 Payments in implementing Salesforce solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, software development team members, and consultants. The Business Analyst serves as the liaison between the sales, operations, and technical development teams. This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, and managing the business needs of stakeholders; including customers, partners, and end users. The BA will work closely with business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements, report results, and manage the effort to completion.

• Work alongside Software Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices as they relate to Salesforce implementation projects and general software engineering concepts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Developers, QA, and other team members to achieve elegant solutions that satisfy business needs, goals, and objectives.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of development processes, technical solutions, and overall project management.
• Create and organize new features and enhancements for the platform in Confluence and JIRA.
• Conduct market research to suggest best-in-class solutions for the platform.
• Become a subject matter expert for specific areas of the Salesforce platform, providing guidance and expertise on behalf of the team.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with deployed systems using various techniques, including direct engagement with support personnel and customers.
• Proactively assess and analyze existing systems to maximize quality and customer satisfaction while minimizing maintenance costs and operational issues.

• 2-5+ years of experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders in a Business Analyst role.
• Experience working with Salesforce implementation projects, preferably within the Financial Services Cloud (FSC) space. Familiarity with CPQ and DPA functionality is a plus.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle (SDLC) by designing and iterating on software through analysis of functionality as defined by customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in testing work-in-progress deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and functional requirements as defined by the Product team, as well as non-functional requirements defined by the development team.
• Expertise in enterprise-related functionality, including consolidated reporting and multi-store management, is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to document complex technical solutions (e.g., flow charts, UML diagrams, code comments).
• Driven and eager to be part of a highly productive team that delivers products on a continual basis.
• Restaurant POS experience or operational experience in payment processing or financial services industry is a huge plus.

• Preferred work location: Allentown, PA; Silver Spring, MD or Las Vegas, NV are also acceptable.
• 10% travel (post-COVID) if not working in Allentown.
