Primary Responsibilities
- Use Business integration tools to provide integration solutions for internal and external customers.
- Create, test, implement and support solutions that resolve business challenges or inefficiencies.
- Create functional specifications using company accepted standards
- Provide direction, training, and continuing technical guidance to the EDI Development team.
- Create, test, implement and support solutions that resolve business challenges or inefficiencies
- Analysis of business/customer problems and recommendation of improvements/solutions
- Be available for on call support, deployments, upgrades and DR switches/tests related to the EDI area.
- Work collaboratively with Application architect, users, Customers and management to design applications and implement solutions that fit business needs.
- Perform application and integration testing.
- Create data flow diagrams, testing and QA documentation as well as user help documentation.
- Provide SOX documentation in accordance with department standards.
- Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of supported business area(s)
- Verification of production changes and coordination with business units effected
- Work closely with systems integration and server administration teams for all hardware & software upgrades
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or in-lieu of degree, equivalent work experience
- 4+ years EDI Business Analyst experience with 2+ years in team lead role
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work as a team player
- Strong problem solving skills and self-motivated
- Maintain a positive attitude and be supportive to management and all team members
- Transportation knowledge a definite plus
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer
- Ability to talk on and hear the telephone
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
