Job Title: Business Analyst - GxP Application/Validation
Job Location: Swiftwater, PA
Job Summary:
Lead and support enhancements and local site implementation projects for IT manufacturing systems in support of changing business demand including business and system analysis, configuration, administration, installation, and development activities to implement enhancements, computer system validation and Site Change Controls. IT manufacturing systems include: process control systems, building automation systems, alarm management tools, manufacturing execution systems, and electronic Form/Logbooks systems. Manufacturing execution services to support Siemens OpCenter. EForm/eLogbook services to support EIS OpsTrakker. Barcode labeling services to support Loftware / NiceLabel with Zebra/Intermec printing infrastructure.

• Must be available to be on-site for up 80% of the time. This requirement may change as the needs of the business evolve.
• Plan, estimate, and execute projects.
• Support the translation of business requirements into functional and technical specifications for manufacturing shop floor systems, eLogbook MES solutions, and Master Batch Records. Configure, debug, and test workflows in support of eLogbook and MES systems. Support enhancements to existing manufacturing systems in support of changing business demand. Manage configuration, administration, installation, and development activities to implement enhancements and new solutions. Manage and perform computer system validation. Assess and resolve system startup issues, owning the issues and deviations through successful resolution.
• Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for Swiftwater manufacturing IT systems. Support internal and external business continuity/disaster recovery audit.
• Support annual scheduled disaster recovery exercises.
• Provide Level 3 Escalation Support
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and systems

Skills Required:

• Previous experience implementing and supporting shop floor digital solutions including manufacturing execution systems,
• Experience with configuring MES workflows in EIS OpsTrakker and Siemens OpCenter,
• Experience with scripting in JavaScript, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, WinBatch or similar languages
• Experience with configuring MES system master data and security models,
• Experience with automation and computer systems validation,
• Effective written and verbal communications skills,
• Knowledge of application technologies (WildFly application servers, Oracle and SQL Server databases, IOS applications, Web applications),
• Experience managing projects and outside vendors,
• Required to be available for on-site and off-hours work to manage testing and upgrades around manufacturing schedules,
• Requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment including gowning. May require aseptic gowning certification,
• Site Change Control experience,
• IT Change Control experience,
• Demonstrated interpersonal skill, including flexibility and ability to work in a team environment,
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills,
• Demonstrated organization skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility to accommodate constantly changing environment,
• Positive attitude,
• Organized and committed with consistent follow through,
• Hands on working knowledge of:
• MS Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Document Management system (GeodIS &EDoc),
• Service Now

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
