Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in preparing comprehensive documentation and business analysis artifacts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of both software development processes and project management principles. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions, be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, crafting user stories, and ensuring that the product meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders effectively. We are looking for a team player who can provide exceptional stewardship for both our clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Documentation:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed requirements for software projects.
· Prepare thorough documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and other relevant artifacts.
· Ensure that requirements are clear, concise, and aligned with project objectives.
User Story Composition:
· Translate business needs into user stories, ensuring that they accurately reflect client requirements and priorities.
· Work closely with development teams to refine and prioritize user stories for implementation.
· Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to validate user stories and gather feedback.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
· Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating communication and fostering collaboration.
· Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance & Validation:
· Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure that software products meet quality standards.
· Conduct reviews and walkthroughs to validate that requirements and user stories are accurately implemented.
· Address any discrepancies or issues identified during testing, ensuring timely resolution.
Continuous Improvement:
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the business analysis and documentation processes.
· Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis and software development.
· Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing the effectiveness of our software products and processes.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in preparing detailed documentation and business analysis artifacts.
· Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, documentation standards, and composing user stories with acceptance criteria.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
· Familiarity with software development processes and project management principles.
· Experience in program management is a plus.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
