Job Description
CVP is seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Analyst to join the team and help bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Project Complexity: ability to dissect, analyze, and document these complexities is crucial in ensuring project success.
- Stakeholder Expectations: act as a conduit between our Knowledge Management teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, effective requirements management, and alignment with business objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization can empower our team to make informed, strategic decisions to assist our client
- Mitigating Risks: identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies, thereby helping to avoid costly setbacks.
- Understanding the requirements from a data-driven perspective and in mitigating risks.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a high level Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a Business Analyst role.
- High degree of initiative, a self-starter.
- Experience communicating with Project Stakeholders, technical and non-technical, in differing roles and various levels in the organization to identify, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Ability to manage time and tasks based on changing priorities.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Clear and concise verbal communication.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Excellent effective listening skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings and workshops between cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Reside in the National Capital Region and able to work on-site.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with Federal Government clients is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure security related issues.
- Certification in business analysis.
Location
- Hybrid role, requires 1-2 days onsite in Arlington, VA
