Business Analyst

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Houston, TX – Hybrid 3 days onsite

Salary: $60.00-$65.00/Hourly

Role Description: The Business Analystmust have at least 8-10+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

Data Analysis:

- Proficiency in data collection, management, and manipulation.

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.

- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools.

Business Process Mapping and Improvement:

- Understanding of business processes and workflows.

- Expertise in process mapping, analysis, and optimization.

- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Able to provide facilitation support for stakeholder workshops.

Requirements Gathering and Elicitation:

- Skill in conducting interviews and facilitating workshops.

- Ability to document and manage business requirements and use cases.

- Ability to create detailed business cases including cost/benefit/ROI.

Technical Proficiency:

- Familiarity with various business software and tools (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, BI tools).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8-10+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
