What We Do:OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

What You'll Do:
- Under direct supervision of SBH Chief Operations Officer: Plans, directs and coordinates all fiscal related functions as assigned; develops hospital goals & objectives to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS), and other accrediting agencies; develops and maintains fiscal policies and procedures for the hospital and assigned areas of responsibility; Assists COO in development and monitoring fiscal year budgets; submits financial reports as required; performs internal audit functions, assists auditors with audits and follows up with corrections/recommendations; Oversees Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Pay Card Administration; under the OAKS/OhioBuys Financial accounting system; Oversees all Internal/rotary funds to include Petty Cash and Commissary; Ensure compliance with hospital & OMHAS policies, State of Ohio, Office of Budget Management fiscal policies and State/Federal Administrative Code/Laws; Assists COO with daily and monthly reconciliations/reporting, Cash Management for Commissary and Patient Bank Operations; Oversees standard record maintenance of all internal fund accounts.
- Reviews and recommends vehicle replacements every fiscal year; Ensures compliance with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Fleet policy and procedures; Verifies Fleet monthly reconciliations are complete and submitted; Ensures all Fleet vehicle accidents are properly reported; ensures any damage to fleet vehicles are repaired through DAS procedures.
Assists COO with all personal service contracts and affiliation agreements with monetary clauses each fiscal year; monitors expenditures compared to original encumbrances; manages authorization encumbrances, modification and/or cancellations; Assures OMHAS Contract Guidelines are adhered to. Runs reports as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Supervises assigned staff: create goals and objectives for employees; complete performance reviews in a timely manner; ensures employees complete all required training; counsels employees as needed; initiates corrective/disciplinary action as required; interview applicants; recommends for hire.
- Must be able to complete a 1 week (business days Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) full time orientation
- Hours of work are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm | Days and hours may vary depending on operational need as this is a part time position
- May be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior
