Bus Operators

Essential Job Functions:

HARTransit is the public transportation provider for greater Danbury, CT, one of the state’s fastest growing communities. We are seeking full and part time bus drivers with clean driving records and good customer service skills. HARTransit operates a fleet of 35 foot transit buses and cutaway vans in fixed route, door-to-door service and rail connector shuttles.

Regular work assignments available for both full and Full and part time shifts. Service hours are fixed to the run you select but there are opportunities for additional work and overtime. Signing bonus.

CDL class A or B with P, F, P,S, PA or PV endorsements with no air brake restrictions.

Education:  High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:  Passenger Endorsement (Preferred)

                                   CDL (Required)

                                  CDL B (Preferred)
