JOB DESCRIPTION: To operate a school bus and assist shop employees when needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; Commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements; Certified bus driver by the State of Alabama; Performs light maintenance to shop area and other transportation related facilities; Meet physical and medical requirements necessary for the safe operation of a school bus; Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
LOCATION: Countywide/Bus Shop
SALARY: Salary Schedule adopted by the Lawrence County Board of Education for the effective date of employment.
CONTRACT LENGTH: 182 days/4 hours per day. Effective at Board approval for 2023-2024 school year.
