Description
This team member will transport Club members from school to Club and other activities in a timely and safe manner. Maneuvering safely during inclement with is a critical skill. When not driving Club members this team member will be in charge of preventative weekly inspections of all Club locations. This team member will also be responsible for maintaining our vans and buses, keeping needed supplies in stock and providing general Operational Support to Boys & Girls Club buildings.
MAJOR DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (Inclusive, but not limited to):
- Provide daily bus/van transportation of Club members
- Responsible for transporting Club members to and from field trips
- Ensures all kids and teens arrive at their designated Club site safely
- Treat all Club kids and teens with respect and dignity
- Promote a safe environment
- Maintain preventive maintenance work log
- Manage the ordering and disbursement of maintenance supplies
- Assist with the implementation of the agency safety plan by communicating needed repairs and maintenance
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Youth experience is preferred
- Superior verbal communications skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent driver with an emphasis on safety
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability
- Able to interact well at various levels of the organization, as well as work with a wide variety of people and personality types
- Ability to be flexible and to relate to changing priorities
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
- Good judgment
- Excellent customer service attitude and skills
- Positive and professional attitude and demeanor
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain Class B CDL within 90 days of hire
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work requires ability to function in both an administrative office and youth program areas some lifting and physical activity required.

Salary Description
$16.00-$20.00 an hour
