The Kroc Center iscurrently hiring a part time (10 hour/week) bus driver position for our After School Program. The position would primarily work Monday-Friday from 2pm-4pm with occasional varied times based on early release schedules.

In keeping with the mission of the Wisconsin Upper Michigan Division of the The Salvation Army, The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center provides facilities, programs and services that strengthen, encourage, and enrich children, adults, and seniors through positive life-changing experiences.
SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide transportation to Kroc Center participants and staff via bus, minibus or van. Report any problems, insights or concerns regarding the behavior of the participants to the Youth Development Supervisor. Report any issues with the vehicles or logistics to the Youth Development Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement and be approved to drive through Salvation Army insurance carrier within 60 days of employment. CPR and First Aid certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

- Transport Kroc Center After School and Day Camp participants.
- Transport other Kroc Center passengers as assigned.
- Participate with children in group and individual activities.
- Assist in loading daily supplies that might include but is not limited to: first aid supplies, sports equipment and coolers.
- Assist with clean-up of activities.
- Perform the pre-trip inspection of the vehicle before moving the vehicle, and post-trip inspection upon completion of route/trip.
- Clean and fuel the bus as needed.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist other employees to prepare for CDL testing as required by supervisor or officer(s).
- Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position.

- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum of an eighth grade education.
- Six months of CDL or bus driving experience preferred.
