Job Description
Professional Motorcoach Operators are the face of All Aboard America. Operators are responsible for the safe operation of Company vehicles transporting passengers to/from various pickup locations and destinations. Safety and customer service are the cornerstones of the Motorcoach Operator position. Operators must ensure legal compliance with all state and federal regulations when it comes to qualification, fitness for duty, and operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
Job Responsibilities:

- Represents the All Aboard America brand in a positive manner to all individuals; is an advocate for the Company.
- Meets agreed upon scheduling, availability and communication expectations.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with all Team Members, passengers, group leaders, law enforcement personnel and other persons while acting in the course/scope of their employment.
- Meets Company dress code for Motorcoach Operators at all times.
- Maintains records of duty status' in accordance with 49 CFR part 395.
- Obtains all information and tools needed for successful completion of each trip before departing (obtains addresses, contact information, and signs/banners, researches all destinations, etc.)
- Performs complete/thorough vehicle inspection prior to operation of any Company vehicle.
- Operates a Motorcoach in interstate commerce, in a safe and responsible manner in compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdiction, and as required by company directives.
- Maintains awareness of changes in vehicle performance while operating a motorcoach and responds appropriately to ensure Operator, passenger, and public safety.
- Follows specific trip routing if/when provided by client and/or Company personnel.
- Ensures passenger comfort and safety at all times; assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
- Loads/unloads passenger luggage, packages and other items into the luggage compartment(s) of the vehicle unless otherwise specified.
- Accurately completes a EVIR (Electronic Vehicle Inspection Report) per Company procedure demonstrating vehicle readiness and/or needed repairs in compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdiction, and as required by company directives.
- Ensures vehicle cleanliness before, during, and at the end of each trip; dumps the restroom as needed.
- Fuels the motorcoach at the completion of each assignment unless otherwise specified.
- Advises management immediately of any/all customer relations issues, incidents/accidents involving customer/vehicle and quality of services provided to the company from outside suppliers.
- Maintains a safe working environment at all times; reports any unsafe working condition to Supervisor immediately.
- Follows all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Be at least 25 years of age, and speak/read/write in English.
- Possess a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class "B" or A, with "P" Endorsement, with 2 years of commercial driving experience and 6 months of "bus" experience (transit, school bus, motorcoach).
- Have no more than 2 tickets/minor violations or preventable crashes in the past 3 years, or no more than 3 tickets/crashes in the past 5 years.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and Human Performance Evaluation (agility/fitness testing).
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Be able to operate a Motorcoach in interstate commerce, in a safe and responsible manner in compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdiction, and as required by company policy.
