As a Community Driver, you're responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.
What Cascade Living and Regency Grand look for in a Community Driver:
- Must be at least 21 years old and must have a valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
- Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed
- Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Transport residents to and from various locations, i.e., medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events
- Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer
- Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
- When there are no scheduled outings or appointments, assist with various tasks throughout the community
- Available Monday-Friday and occasional weekends and evenings for resident activities and outings
- Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
