Type: Transportation Department, 1.0 FTE 9-month (school term) positions under Classified Labor Agreement. Supervised by Transportation Director.
Duties: Transports students in a safe and courteous manner for regular bus routes and for extracurricular activities as needed; obeys all traffic laws; checks bus for mechanical defects; maintains discipline on bus. See Job Description.
Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent; current Montana driver's license with commercial endorsement (or qualify to obtain); must be dependable; physical ability to drive large bus; good public relations skills; knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance. Preferred: Previous experience as a Bus Driver; excellent driving record; knowledge of district bus procedures.
Salary: Hourly rate per Classified Salary Schedule, Lane 3 $18.39 ($18.98 after successful completion of 90-day probationary period)
Benefits: Per Classified agreement includes leave, retirement, and health insurance benefits.
Pre-employment Successful applicant must pass drug test and criminal
