Job Description: Housekeeper

As part of the Confluence team, the Buildings and Grounds Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the general upkeep and order of the building and Grounds and the cleanliness of the residence. The position includes general housekeeping duties, cleaning projects, custodial and janitorial duties.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the residence
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms and kitchen cleaning
• Maintain stocked paper products throughout the residence
• Project cleaning to include periodic interior window washing, appliance cleaning and cabinet/closets
• Periodic upholstery and furniture care care
• Trash, recycling, and composting removal
• Maintenance and inventory of cleaning supply stocks and paper products
• Manage task list to identify priority projects
• Keep property and Grounds in highly presentable condition
• Maintain building systems in good working condition
• Light maintenance jobs, including small tasks related to carpentry, heating, plumbing
• Groundskeeping, including fall/spring clean-up, lawn/garden maintenance
• Snow removal; including shoveling; sanding
• Interior and exterior painting

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Commercial and/or residential cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
• Handyman/contractor experience preferred or similar experience
• Diverse experience in multiple trades preferable
• Integrity, trustworthiness and professionalism
• Must be able to pass extensive background investigation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:

• Hourly wage; Compensation commensurate with experience
