Under the general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, perform work in supervising maintenance crew, scheduling, painting, finishing and maintenance work on a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures, performing maintenance work as requested to complete tickets and projects.
Meets with Facilities Operations Manager, to plan and prioritize work according to established production targets
Supervise Maintenance Crew
Review and validate time schedules minimum one week in advance for distribution to the crew
Tracks work accomplished during past week and gives to manager at weekly meeting
Directs daily work assignments of crew
Orders materials and supplies
Enforces existing methods and procedures relative to preparation and painting work
Inspects work of painters in the field with Maintenance Manager
Refer activities of the crew which require discipline to Building Operations Manager
Assists in the development and motivation of staff through training
Monitors and instructs staff regarding safety regulations and procedures
Meets with representatives of facilities in connection with painting work
Make sure that entry keys and security codes are received from Building Maintenance Manager prior to going to scheduled site
Performs related maintenance duties as required
Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs along with timeline of projects
Coordinate with IFH staff when project may interfere with daily
Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
Perform preventative Maintenace on tools and equipment
Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition
Handle/Dispose of paint, stain, varnish and other chemicals according to established procedures
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report ant conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately
Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance
Clean work area after co
Ability to plan and manage painting projects

Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools use in painting trade
