Management Level:
Class 2
Tasks:
  • Complete emergency work in assigned area.
  • Complete daily routines and preventative maintenance in assigned area.
  • Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
  • Be proficient in basic electrical repairs i.e. 277v light and ballast replacement, 120v outlet and 480 volt motor repair, utilizing a multi meter to check voltages to insure circuit is de energized before work begins.
  • Possess basic plumbing abilities to address leaks, maintain drains, and other general plumbing fixtures.
  • Ability to solder joints in copper piping up to 1" trade size as well as being able to assemble PVC piping for basic plumbing needs preferred.
  • Sign out all inventory parts as utilized.
  • Paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
  • Engage in the general cleaning and upkeep of buildings.
  • Assist other departments as requested, including moving furniture, unloading, and storing supplies.
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform daily and weekly inspections of the facilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Team Member must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and 80 lbs (with assistance).
  • Team Member will work at heights utilizing ladders, scaffolds, man lifts and portable lifting devices.

Requirements:
  • You must not exceed more than 7 attendance points.
  • You must not have received a written warning within the last 3 months.
  • This individual should have the functional use of power tools and basic electrical measuring devices.
  • The individual needs to have knowledge/experience of install drywall and painting.
  • This individual must have the knowledge of basic construction techniques, 2 years electrical experience (110, 220, 277, &480 Volts) and the ability to perform the same.
  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
