Electrical
volt circuits.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns.
Plumbing
Repair and install plumbing fixtures.
Operate a power drain opening cable machine.
Ability to sweat copper fittings, thread steel pipe and glue PVC pipe.
Ability to run gas pipe, boiler pipe, domestic water pipe, drain and waste pipe and
cast iron pipe.
Clean and treat chemical traps, grease traps, and clay traps.
Carpentry
Basic framing skills using wood or steel studs.
Drywall installation & repair. Ability to neatly tape, mud, and paint.
Repair damaged wood furniture and fixtures.
Install classroom fixtures; boards, storage bins, display cases.
Install or repair interior ceilings & floor coverings.
Repair various exterior roof surfaces and broken glass with basic skills in cutting
and glazing
Mechanical
Install or repair mechanical fixtures: gear boxes, shafts, pumps, and fans.
Install or repair equipment used in housekeeping, kitchens, grounds, maintenance
departments, and administrative offices.
Perform housekeeping duties as needed in the divisions.
Clean all gutters and downspouts.
Assist with special events; set-up, visitor shuttle, and teardown.
