SalaryThe position involves general office and administrative/clerical duties for the Department Head - Zoning Enforcement Officer of the Building and Land Use and Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Plan and perform office duties as assigned.
- Coordinate and manage office functions and assist the Department Head with technical clerical and administrative duties.
- Prepare and type a variety of correspondence, memos, reports, and other materials as needed and assigned by the Department Head.
- Schedule inspections for department inspectors.
- Maintains departmental files related to the Building and Land Use Department.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in an office setting working in zoning, planning, building, engineering, or related field with preference given for related experience in municipal government.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or relevant experience will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
