Job description

As a Bug Bounty Hunter, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in our systems and applications. You will work alongside our cybersecurity team to proactively identify potential weaknesses and ensure the highest level of security for our products and services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security of our organization and to make a meaningful impact in the field of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify Security Vulnerabilities: Conduct in-depth security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to discover potential weaknesses in our systems, applications, and infrastructure.

2. Reporting and Documentation: Document your findings meticulously and submit detailed reports that clearly describe the identified vulnerabilities, their severity, and potential impact.

3. Collaborate with Security Team: Work closely with our cybersecurity team to validate and address identified vulnerabilities, ensuring they are properly remediated.

4. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors to adapt to new threats effectively.

5. Responsible Disclosure: Follow responsible disclosure practices by reporting security vulnerabilities to the appropriate stakeholders and providing support during the remediation process.

6. Research and Development: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of cybersecurity by conducting research and staying informed about emerging threats and security best practices.

7. Participate in Bug Bounty Programs: Engage with external security researchers, hackers, and white-hat hackers to invite them to participate in our Bug Bounty programs and coordinate their efforts.

Qualifications:

1. Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in security testing, penetration testing, or ethical hacking, with a portfolio of reported and resolved vulnerabilities.

2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and best practices in cybersecurity.

3. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using various security testing tools and methodologies, including but not limited to Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, and OWASP testing methodologies.

4. Coding and Scripting: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby can be a plus.

5. Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and report them effectively.

6. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP are a plus.

7. Ethical and Responsible: A strong commitment to ethical hacking practices and responsible disclosure.

8. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for uncovering vulnerabilities.
