SalaryFocusKPI is looking for aBudget Operations Coordinator/Analystto join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.
Work Location:Remote: anywhere in the US; preferred EST and CST
Duration: 5 months with potential for extension depending on your performance & budget
Pay Range:$40/hr to $48/hr
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Support Budget Operations by tracking monthly/quarterly program $ spend
- Ensure Team follows established budget processes including handling procurement & vendor management tickets
- Collaborate with Business owners to track their allocated budget
- Build spend history & Forecast quarterly / yearly needs Explain complex financial data clearly
- Closely work with procurement team to open, change ,extend, close PO's
- Spot errors in the budget and quickly work to rectify it with FP&A & procurement(Example: incorrect Cost Center)
- Support with Fiscal year contract extensions
- Perform all adhoc and administrative tasks pertaining to budget (Example: Maintaining process pages)
- Identify and flag potential risks
- Normalize data & find ways to fix complex spend reports in the General Ledger
- 3-5 years of experience with Budget Operations
- BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and statistical packages
- Knowledge of MS Excel (advanced formulas, vlookups, formula, data normalization, pivot tables and charts)
- Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis
- Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
- Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms
