Job Description:
- A Solution Integrator delivers a variety of technical services in live customer networks and creates customized software packages for specific customers.
- Solution Integrator may develop and design methods, tools, and scripts and/or carry out site design and layout, identifying and troubleshooting faults within a defined framework in line with customer requirements.
- A Solution Integrator mainly interacts with other Services Professionals, other groups within the Service Delivery organization, and with customers on issues related to site engineering, troubleshooting of network problems, and in training sessions.
- Often plays a role as a project member during the delivery phase of projects.
Experience and qualifications:
- Previous integration and verification experience (testing such as basic testing, function testing, robustness, load, performance, system, and integration testing is beneficial).
- Previous verification experience is a plus (previous professional experience working in an integration and verification capacity is required)
- Experience and solution knowledge about Charging System 5.0 is highly appreciated, but experience from Charging System 4.0 or 3.0 with deep node competence will suffice.
- SDP/AIR node knowledge is required.
- Unix/Linux experience required (system admin knowledge of Linux/Sun Solaris and IBM experience is highly required).
- Good knowledge of wireless technologies and related protocols is a plus. Understanding CIP/IP is definitely a plus.
- Experience Within protocols (CAPv3, CAPv2, CAPv1, CS1+ TSP-IN) verification, configuration, and troubleshooting are highly desired
- Understanding dedicated and shared accounts in a Prepaid /Charging structure is also a plus.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or the acceptable equivalent of post-secondary education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience working with system integration.
- Installation, configuration, and integration of servers.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter)
- Operating Systems:
- UNIX, Solaris, Linux. Database: Relational databases such as Oracle and Sybase IQ o Scripting: Perl,
- UNIX OTHER: -Experience with SDP setup and installation, setup of FRT environment and function testing FRT script, and performed verification testing of SDP
- Experience in installing and configuring SIGTRAN is a plus
- Very good understanding of rating, rating tree setup, structures, and configuration
- Perform system verification and integration of charging data between AIR, CCN, SCP, and SDP charging CDR data
- System Unix administrator of the Solaris 8/9/10 servers for verification testing of pre-paid deliveries.
- Technical Knowledge and skills required: Pre-Paid, Post-Paid, IN, SCP, SDP, CCN, MM, DWS, SMAS, SEA, STNMS, SS7 - IP Stack knowledge required.
- Packet traces using ethereal/Wireshark, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and the F5 Load balancer is a plus.
- Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches are highly desired.
- Good knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols is a plus.
Responsibilities: ·
- Software loading, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and customer support of existing solutions, products, and networks on a customer site or in a lab environment using *** products, 3rd party, or customized packages and adaptations.
- Perform complex updates/upgrades of live networks ·
- Perform customer acceptance testing
- Providing ongoing customer support throughout implementation as well as driving new solutions developed in order to meet the customer's expectations.
- Attend and participate in customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
- Assist solution architects in customer requirement gathering and analysis
Ideal: ·
- Knowledge of Real Time Charging Systems: such as Charging System, Alcatel Lucent, Nokia Siemens, Telcordia, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Telecom Billing Systems.
- such as Convergys, AMDOCS, BSCS, or equivalent.
- Understanding of 2G/3G/4G mobile wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of mediation systems, preferably Multi Mediation.
