American Bank & Trust Company is looking for afull time Deposit Operations Specialist for the Opelousas area. Applicant will be responsible for monitoring and organizing the daily activities andworkflow of the DEPOSIT OPERATIONS area. Ensuring a satisfactory level of timeliness, performance, andaccuracy. Organizes, coordinates, andhandles the daily activities ensuring adherence to Policies and Procedures,regulations, and sound banking practices. Ensure timely handling of problem situations, investigations, andgeneral troubleshooting. Review all newaccounts and file maintenance reports against documentation to ensure input iscorrect, adhering to standards, CIP, and other guidance. Review and transmit BSAreports. Must haveknowledge of ACH transactions and origination. Create and review policies and procedure manuals. Must have strong knowledge of Federal andState laws, banking regulations, BSA, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, TravelRule, and OFAC. Position requires two tothree years of experience in Deposit Operations; ability to provide workdirection and technical guidance to others; at least a highschool diploma; must have good verbal and written communication skills; abilityto work independently; make sound decisions and have good analytical and problem-solvingskills; ability to manage multiple tasks projects and deadlines; and strongorganizational and managerial skills.
