Form of workWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities: Evaluate and select appropriate transportation modes, carriers, and routes, considering cost, speed, and reliabilityTender, track and trace all managed shipments and communicate time-sensitive information to the appropriate business partnersWork closely with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure swift movement of imported goods upon arrival Resolve any issues or delays in delivery, including coordinating with vendors, carriers, and customers to find effective solutionsNegotiate and manage carrier contractsAudit carrier invoices and validate them for payment processing Requirements: High School Diploma/ G.E.D.
required; College degree preferred Relevant logistics work experience a plusComprehensive knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalismStrong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities What we can offer you...
