Bridge Design Engineer

We’re looking for a newBridge Design Engineerin our Infrastructure Group to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

As a SYSTRA US Bridge Design Engineeryou will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the delivery and design of client bridge projects
• Be a valued team member to the management of project budgets, schedules, design activities and project delivery for client Bridge Design needs
• Help ensure compliance to local and federal rules, standards and specifications
• Suggest process improvements and practices that will help us deliver our client’s projects on time and on budget
• Keep up to date on latest design standards and practices in bridge and structures design

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in structural design
• Minimum of 5 years of bridge structural design experience
• Experience as a team member on multiple types of Bridge Design efforts
• Knowledge and familiarity in the use of design software packages such as LARSA 4D, Midas, SAP, MicroStation, OpenRail and OpenBridges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Structural Engineering
• Other advanced degree(s)
• California PE
• SE certification
• Experience on rail focused Bridge Design projects
• Experience on high-speed rail Bridge Design projects

Salary Range:  $105,257-155,320
