Job description

Thriving communities. Healthy cities. A brighter future. What we do is more than building roads and bridges, we work everyday to make the world better for everyone. If you want to join a company invested in you and your success, join us as a Bridge Design Engineer.

As a vital member of our Bellevue Bridge team, you'll have the flexibility to work in our hybrid work environment from your location in the Puget Sound area with occasional visits to the office.  You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects that focus on bridges, transit guideway structures and other transportation structure designs throughout the Northwest. Using your experience, you'll provide technical expertise in completing bridge and transportation structure design. You'll complete design activities, and prepare plans, specification and estimates and support your projects through construction. You'll also help direct CAD staff and less experienced engineers.  Most importantly, you will work to solve problems and challenges in a team environment where everyone's opinion and idea is valued.

Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Your health. Your well-being. Your security. Your future. Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Eligible employees may also enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan. Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave.
