Responsibilities:
-Answering incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries, taking messages, and providing information about products, services, and store policies.
-Providing knowledgeable responses to a variety of customer inquiries, demonstrating excellent communication skills and product knowledge.
-Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.
-Welcoming customers as they enter the store, offering assistance, and directing them to the appropriate area or sales representative.
-Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and keeping inventory areas tidy.
-Operating cash registers and POS systems to process customer purchases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
-Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting customers, answering phones, and processing payments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
-Organizing and filing paperwork, such as customer forms, invoices, and receipts, in designated filing systems for easy retrieval and record-keeping.
-Preparing for upcoming appointments by pulling merchandise and ensuring that all necessary items are ready for customers' fittings or consultations.
-Compiling and maintaining daily sales reports, documenting sales transactions, and tracking inventory levels to provide accurate sales data to management.
-Reconciling cash registers at the end of each shift, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for.
- Following up with customers after their visit to inquire about their experience, address any concerns, and offer assistance with future purchases or appointments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy checkout area
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling various payment methods
- Good phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
