Nyanza Bridal is Washington's ultimate in bridal luxury! Located in downtown Kirkland, we are seeking a friendly, professional and knowledgeable stylist who has a combination of sales and styling experience. Our ideal candidate will join the team in a full-time position and be utilized working with brides on the sales floor. This individual has familiarized themselves with fashion and will easily fit into our couture salon experience. We are looking for a serious candidate who is passionate about working in the bridal industry.

Skills:

  • Must possess customer focused sales skills and a passion for working with customers to ensure their perfect bridal experience.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Ideal candidates are both professional and personal, and have a positive attitude.
  • Must have the ability to pick up skills and knowledge quickly so as to proficiently multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and appointments
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, as we serve a diverse clientele.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all brides and represent the brand in a professional and consultative manner.
  • Build relationships with brides via constant communication throughout the entire bridal experience.
  • Assist brides-to-be in finding their perfect wedding gown and accessories, by providing personalized consultations and recommendations based on individual preferences and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current bridal trends and product knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment.

You will be working under the store owner as a Bridal Stylist. You will be responsible for helping provide an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining an overall daily workflow. This will require you to schedule and host bridal appointments, follow up with all customers via email and/or phone, and organize the sales floor and stock room of bridal gowns and accessories.

You must maintain relevant knowledge about trends in bridal and be able to speak with clients in a mature, polite and professional manner. Daily tasks will include answering emails and phone calls to schedule appointments, leading appointments, assisting customers in and out of gowns, processing payments, organizing the sales floor, and assisting in daily operations. However, we are a small team and all wear multiple hats; it is important that the right candidate be able to asses, anticipate and adapt to the needs of the store at any given time.

Overall, we are looking for someone who is determined, hardworking, reliable and able to adapt in all areas when needed, and who can (eventually) obtain and maintain a rapport with customers throughout the wedding process. We are a small and passionate team, with an outstanding commitment to quality and love of fashion. We like to have fun while we work hard in a high-end and collaborative environment. Job Type:
Ideally full-time, open to part-time.

Hours:
This position REQUIRES weekend work. Potential working hours are as follows:

  • Saturday 11am - 6pm (required)
  • Sunday 11am - 5pm (required)
  • Weekdays 11am - 6pm

Depending on full-time versus part-time work, expected hours are between 12 - 36 per week.

Pay:
Pay is hourly, with our hourly rate based on your prior experience and sales skills. Commissions, tips and bonuses can add a significant amount to your pay! There is no limit on the amount you can earn in commissions, tips and bonuses.

Dress Code:
Dress code for the store is all black. Professional/business-casual attire is required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate, Bachelors (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-year retail sales, 1-year customer service and/or bridal experience (preferred). *Preference will be given to candidates with prior bridal experience.
