Brewery Bartender

Position Title: Taproom Associate

Employment Status: Part-Time | 20-30 hrs/week

Reports to: Co-Owners

TAPROOM ASSOCIATE

Position Summary:

Milieu Fermentation is a brewery located at 2101 N Ursula St, Aurora, CO 80045 on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Taproom Associates work to facilitate smooth and memorable experiences for every guest. They execute the milieu fermentation brand image and standards to increase brand loyalty act as a go-to resource and educate our guests on our tap list offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but not limited to the following:

• Be milieu fermentation’s ambassador while serving as our "face of the brand” to our guests
• Sell on-premise draft beverage options, retail to-go beverages, and merchandise
• Answer guest's inquiries about our core/rotating draft options, production processes, events or other questions related to milieu fermentation
• Attend company sponsored training opportunities with the willingness to grow and learn
• Service and maintain our front of house, including: taproom, bar, patio, and restroom areas before and after service
• Maintain a sanitary taproom before and after service
• Manage cash and guest payment processing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• +1 year(s) of restaurant, taproom, brewery, or brewpub experience
• Must be at least legal age to serve alcohol
• Must have open availability for weekends and holidays
• Day and Evening Shifts
• TIPS certified for on-premise alcohol server training or ability to pass within the first 3 months of employment (paid by the brewery)
• Stamina to be on your feet up to 5-8 hours and lift heavy stuff up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts; including evening and weekends
• General knowledge or ability to be trained on beer and our alternative fermentation styles, pouring techniques, glassware management, brewing process
• Positive attitude, punctual, patient and honor our values in a teamwork environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask responsibilities routinely
