We are growing and would love to speak with you! SEKISUI Aerospace is currently hiring a 1st Shift Aerospace Breakout Technician for our Sumner location.

Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Position: Breakout

As a Breakout production employee, you will remove bagging materials and plaster from composite parts.

Schedule

1st Shift

4:30am Start, Monday – Thursday

Pay: $18/hour - $22/hour

Responsibilities:

Using an impact hammer and other hand tools removes plaster from inside of composite parts.

Removes bagging materials from cured composite parts.

Performs surface preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck particles.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand detailed instruction.

Intermediate to advanced math skills.

Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.

Able to identify defective materials and parts.

Working conditions:

Exposure to loud sounds

Pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting

Handling objects up to 50 lbs.

Pay

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
