WE ARE A FROM SCRATCH BREAKFAST/BRUNCH COMFORT KITCHEN. ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN THAT AREA WOULD BE A PLUS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE REAL EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A FAST FACED HIGH VOLUME KITCHEN **PLEASE DO NOT APPLY/ NO FAST FOOD EXPERIENCE**
Job Details
-Prepares, seasons and cooks using skill in frying, grilling and sautéing.
-Works well with head chef and line cooks
-Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
-Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
-Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
-Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
-Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years experience
-must have food handlers certificate (VALID IN NEVADA STATE)
-Manager Food Safety (plus)
-fast learner
-Hand eye coordination when using kitchen tools and cooking utensils
-Comprehension skills when reading order tickets and recipes
-Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of times when cooking and preparing food
-works good with others
-HIGH VOLUME EXPERIENCE
-FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT
-Strong leadership skills
-BASIC PROPER FOOD HANDLING, TEMPERATURES, AND FOOD BORN ILLNESSES
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
