Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the required standards of presentation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and develop menus
- Assist with catering and special event food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to plan menus and create dishes that meet dietary requirements
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
