Line Cook: $21 - $24 per hour (wage + tips) DOE

Responsibilities Include:

• Be proficient in all aspects of food preparation at all stations.
• Provide consistency and excellence in food preparation both in quality and presentation.
• Address customer issues promptly and effectively in conjunction with Kitchen Manager when appropriate.
• Knowledgeable of regular menu and specials in all aspects and is able to prepare them.
• Executes orders in a timely and accurate manner for optimal customer satisfaction and limited waste.
• Follow all company policies effectively.
• Ability to follow recipes and execute food preparation as directed by kitchen manager.
• Is aware of the safety measures and standards of food preparation and practices them consistently.
• Maintains inventory procedures as required by Kitchen Manager.
• Continually work to improve product knowledge and share with co-workers.
• Communicate openly and effectively with Owner and staff.
• Ensure that high hygiene and sanitation is consistently followed in the kitchen
• Open and close the kitchen following all opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications:

1 plus years experience in a restaurant kitchen

*Ability to work weekends: a must!

*Have transportation or be able to take public transport if needed

*Have the ability to stand 6 8 hours daily and lift up to 50 pounds

*Have a current Washington Food Handlers Permit
