This exciting role sits within the Global Channel Development organization, responsible for elevating the brand around the world, at-home and on-the-go, creating Starbucks moments for consumers outside of our retail stores. In this role, you will lead the Global Brand Channel Initiatives team, with a focus on future portfolio and product innovation. This role is critical to provide a Global Portfolio lens across the Starbucks CPG business informing and inspiring brand teams & partnerships to advance the Starbucks brand in a strategic, elevated and cohesive way. This team uniquely works across Ready To Drink, At Home Coffee and Food Service categories and all regions to facilitate cross-channel perspective, drive synergies and design tools to foster cohesion in service of our long term "one brand" aspiration.

In this role, you will lead critical consolidation and strategic workstreams for Global Channel Development and serve as the laison to Channel region teams, enterprise brand teams, global creative studio, international CMP and DAIBO.

As a brand strategy manager, you will...

  • Support the Starbucks brand and product portfolio globally, diving deeply into the multi-channel scale of the brand and regional business and consumer differences.
  • Support key functional teams to Channel region teams, enterprise brand teams, global creative studio, international CMP and DAIBO on all-things Starbucks Brand portfolio.
  • Support strategies and tools to facilitate brand accretive growth across GCD's diverse and ever-expanding portfolio.
  • Support and develop new processes, forums, and communication channels to drive global cohesion and connection across brand teams.
  • Strengthen our understanding of the global portfolio through distillation and sharing of insights across channels and continuous dot-connecting.
  • Develop strong influencing and empathy skills in working with the global regional teams and partnerships.
  • Support the senior brand manager (BMII) and collaborate closely with global x-functional partners
  • Enjoy working with a global, collaborative, energetic, and results-driven team

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • Strong experience interpreting and leveraging consumer insights
  • Progressive experience in brand management (5-7 years)
  • Project leadership in large cross-functional environment (5 years)
  • Ability to thrive in and effectively manage ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Thought leadership and a brand champion
