Brand Marketing Manager

We are currently looking for a dynamic and creative Brand Marketing Manager of our ServiceMaster Clean Brand to lead campaign planning and management, social strategy, and key brand capabilities and engagements. In collaboration with the Center of Excellence (CoE), you'll have the opportunity to manage any external agency projects and serve as a marketing subject matter expert for cross-functional projects. In addition, you'll own the Scorpion relationship from the brand side and manage larger local initiatives and projects.

The Brand Marketing Manager will also assist the Marketing Director in building out annual marketing and activation plans, owning pieces of the process including drafting the annual NAF Budget. You will lead translating the national strategy into local activation, building the plan, and leading the Associate Brand Manager in the execution of local toolkits, communication, and education.


What you'll do:

  • Work with the SEO and Content Specialist to develop quarterly social strategies.
  • Collaborate with CoE and the in-house design team to develop monthly content calendars, create post copy/graphics, and get content loaded into the social media management platforms.
  • Serves as project manager and leader of change management for any brand initiatives that require franchisee engagement/participation or Scorpion.
  • Identify market research opportunities and assist sourcing and CoE in identifying a preferred vendor.
  • Manage the vendor and project and identify areas of opportunity and leading projects which may come from those.
  • Manage any creative campaign concepts and strategies.
  • Lead the Associate Brand Manager in the execution of creative assets, versioning, and tool-kitting.
  • Assist the Marketing Director in translating the long-term brand strategy into an annual marketing activation plan, and then translating that national marketing activation plan into a local strategy, with the assistance of the Associate Brand Manager.
  • Create the annual NAF budget and monitor it monthly for overspend, underspend, and possible shifts.
  • Build the local enablement strategy and manage the Associate Brand Manager in the execution of that strategy.
  • Develop, test, and deliver processes and programs to improve brand and franchisee performance
  • Identify opportunities to build world-class support for franchisees to improve franchisee sales, profitability and growth.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience, 4+ years preferred
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of marketing & branding principles, methods, and practices
  • Experience in building integrated marketing campaigns and managing campaign planning
  • Project management and change management experience
  • Experience working with franchisees
  • Knowledge of the DR industry preferred
  • Marketing Activation planning experience strongly preferred
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, relational coordination, and ability to collaborate


Work Location:

This role is 100% remote with up to 15% travel required.
