Purpose
The position is a strategic, data-driven marketer to help lead both corporate brand strategies and product strategy development for multiple product lines. The Brand Manager, Marketing Strategy will be the brand expert and champion, playing a key role in developing strategies, plans, message development and leading market research projects. This role will also be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to oversee the tactical development from the associate Brand Managers execution of various marketing tactics, including but not limited to: sales presentations, sales collateral, tradeshow tactics, contract launches, PR tactics, digital tactics and other commercial initiatives. The Brand Manager will also serve as the responsible contact with any strategic agency or consultant support.

- Develop brand strategies and value propositions that create customer engagement, loyalty and brand equity.
- Build a foundational/subject matter expert level of knowledge
- Competitive space, product knowledge, how they are positioned, what are their key messages, where do we think they are going, do they have new products in development
- Pressure injury prevention space, where do we see it going, opportunities, challenges, risk
- Develop brand strategy across our product line

- Oversee the development of creative assets to support strategic marketing initiatives
- Take the lead on messaging and strategy for marketing support tactics related to sales aids, tradeshow exhibits, sales presentations, competitive responses, and other sales support needs

- Corporate branding projects in conjunction with creative services
- Lunch and Learn internal presentations
- Field rides and engagements with sales teams

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Business or related field (MBA preferred)
- 1-3 years of marketing or sales experience (consumer goods, medical or pharma preferred)
- 1-3 years of product or brand management experience (consumer goods, medical or pharma preferred)
Other Skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects bringing them through to completion
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
- Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people
- Must be able to work cross-functionally (experience working with clinical, regulatory and sales preferred)
- Travel approximately 20% to trade shows and field rides
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, product instructions and employee handbook.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Understanding of visual elements, keen eye for detail, time management and multitasking, as well as being creative and problem solving.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of design software, graphic editing tools, and Microsoft Office. Should have a basic understanding of best practices for visual communication and some technical proficiency with graphic design software, layout, and color management.
