Position:Brand Finance Senior Analyst

What You Will Learn:
The Brand Finance Senior Analyst will have financial reporting and analysis responsibilities for the LaRoche-Posay (LRP) brand within the L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Division. This position works directly with the Brand Finance AVP and the LRP Marketing Team in managing the brand P&L to promote optimal decision making within the business. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for understanding brand strategies and priorities, performing spend analysis, and acting as a consistent finance presence supporting the Brand Finance AVP and the brand business partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide financial support and guidance to the Brand Finance AVP and the brand marketing teams
- Manage the A&P budget file in totality including planned and actual spend and ensure expenses are classified in accordance with the L’Oreal Finance Norms
- Responsibility for monthly closing tasks, actuals reporting, analysis and commentary
- Responsibility for A&P budget and trend creation and maintenance in the Group’s financial system (Compass)
- Conduct regular budget meetings with business partners
- Monitor and approve spend requests (Purchase Orders)
- Work with the BEST team to exchange budget/trend/actual data and insights
- Inform Brand Finance AVP of risks & opportunities identified through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners
- Perform ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and assist management in making sound business decisions
- Use of the Group’s financial system (Compass), Excel and other Group finance tools to help effectively manage the P&L on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to be recognized as a valued partner
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in finance preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience required
- Strong computer skills required (Excel a must)
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; business acumen; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Effective as a self-starter; willing to work outside the confines of defined job responsibilities in order to make greater impact
