Job Summary: Seeking CNC Brake Press Operator. Will be working on Brake Press to bend metal after its been cut and run through the turret machine. Would like a person with at least 3 yrs operating a Press Brake. Will be able to lift large sheets of metal, 75 + lbs. Would be trained on specific equipment, but would need to be able to work with minimal supervision Must be able to follow specs and blue prints. loud environment, lots of moving parts, pieces, equipment etc. Must be aware and attentive to surroundings. This is a cross-functional position within the fabrication shop

PAY:$20.00 to $25.00 DOE + $3.50 shift differential
Shift: 3pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: Applicant could do any of the following:
- Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch for routine established work
- Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
- Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from supervisor/lead.
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
- Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
- Make routine decisions and use problem-solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
- Report and document primary material, production, and quality control issues
- Maintain performance logbooks on assigned area equipment and report deficiencies to the maintenance team.
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
Qualifications:
- Must have strong metal press forming and essential fabrication background.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations, including basic setup up is desired.
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn precision measurement tools.
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
- Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.
- Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
