Brake Press Operator

Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for a Brake Press Operator for a Prominent Automotive manufacturing company in the Kansas City, MO area.

Location: Kansas City, MO
Shifts: 3rd - Overnight
Hours - 10:00 pm - 6:30 am - overtime Available
Start: Hiring Immediately - TEMP TO PERM - 90 DAYS
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00/HR - DOE + Benefits PACKAGE

Summary:
As a Brake Press Operator, you are responsible for setting up and operating Brake Press machinery used in metal fabrication processes. interpret blueprints, adjust machine settings, and ensure precise bending or forming of metal parts according to specifications. Additionally, you will conduct quality checks to maintain accuracy and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
• Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company
• Must ensure machine safety rules are followed (light curtains, guarding, etc.)
• Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided that 1st off/1st Part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements
• Bend parts according to provided drawings and specifications
• Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required
• Program, set up Machines to meet customer requirements in output and quality
• Interface with Quality and Engineering
• Maintain proper company housekeeping standards
• Must notify lead hand and/or supervisors of all disfunctional and/or unsafe equipment or work practices
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Metal Fabrication an asset
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Ability to use Tape Measure, Vernier and other measuring tools
• Ability to identify and change Brake Press tools
• Ability to work independently or with supervision
• Capable to lift up to 50lbs or 23 kilograms from ground to table level
• Mathematical aptitude
