Braille Transcriber/Braillist $40/Hr

Morgans Healthcare is a New York-based staffing agency that specializes in placing healthcare professionals into temporary travel and local contracts across the United States.

Contract:

• Permament Contract
• Location is River Ridge Elementary
• 1.0 FTE position capping out at 37.5 hours per week
• Bell schedule is 9:15am-3:55pm, Wednesday Early Dismissal: 1:55
• Candidate must be comfortable instructing through Braille
• Candidate must have one of the following certs:

(a) Successful completion of the National Certification in Unified English Braille (NCUEB) assessment from the National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB); or

(b) Successful completion of Library of Congress certification in Braille transcription; or

(c) Successful completion of the Braille competency test developed at Washington State School for the Blind; or

(d) Successful completion of any other test approved for use by the professional educator standards board.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Experience:

• Braille Transcriber/Braillist: 1 year (Required)
