Boxer - Third Shift

RW Garcia, a subsidiary of Utz Brands, is looking to grow their loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Boxer inLincolnton, NC on ThirdShift.

The Boxer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by primarily responsible to assemble and move boxes and pallets from one area to another as needed throughout the day. This schedule will work Mon – Fri 11:00 pm -7:00 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring boxes and pallets prior to production and as needed throughout the day from the warehouse to the packing room.
• Assemble cases confirming the correct box used.
• Run boxes through the taping machine.
• Monitor code and quality of print on boxes assuring correct information displayed.
• Place boxes on pallets assuring proper count on each pallet.
• Record the time of each pallet and remove it from the packing room to the warehouse.
• Help maintain a clean working area.
• Assist with break relief.
• Remove trash and place it in the proper container, weigh, and dump.
• Assist in blow down and cleaning during the changeover.
• Help the lead person lift heavy rolls of film if needed.
• Assist in cleanup and sanitization at end of week cleanup.
• Perform any other duties as directed by Lead Person and Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience working in the production or manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying.
• Work in a noisy environment with large machinery.
• Able to work on weekends and OT when needed.
• Must be able to stand for prolong periods, stoop, climb, reach overhead, crawl, bend.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment in making decisions within the scope of authority of the position.
• Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately complete tasks within established times.
