Description:

Carriers Dispatch Services a leading dispatching company, is seeking dedicated and punctual Box Truck/Semi Drivers to join our team. As a pivotal player in our operations, you'll engage in pick-up and delivery tasks, not only servicing Amazon warehouses but also handling a variety of loads for multiple clients. This role is essential in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods, thereby maintaining our commitment to providing top-notch service to all our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a box truck or semi-trailer to transport goods for Amazon as well as a diverse range of other clients.
• Perform loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Navigate local and over-the-road (OTR) routes to deliver goods in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other records as required by law and company policy.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines while on the road and at loading docks.
• Communicate effectively with Carrier Dispatch Services , as well as warehouse and dock staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Be flexible to accommodate local and long-distance routes, 7 days a week, covering all hours as needed by our diverse client base.

Qualifications:

• Must have Box Truck/ Semi Truck and an Active DOT or MC Authority.
• Valid driver's license and or CDL with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Box Truck/Semi Driver.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Excellent time management skills to meet varying delivery schedules.
• Good communication and navigation skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive work environment.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay, dependent on route, experience, and client needs.
