Box Truck Driver

Apex Initiative LLC is looking for Box truck Drivers (Standard license) to transport palletized freight from Amazon to the post office. Usually Max distance 300 miles. ***

Must be willing to train for 3 days prior to working.

• Opportunities are paid by the load which averages to around $20-$25 hour

• Paid weekly bonus incentives for keeping an 100% on time delivery

• Full time position (W9)

• Shift: Graveyard 10 pm-7am

• Must be able to be able to work 6 days per week

• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)

• Must be 21 years or older

• Must be VERY PUNCTUAL!

• Responsible & Reliable

• Dock-to-Dock type of deliveries

• A Night Owl, happy to Work Graveyard

• Physically fit (Pallet Jack Palletized Freight)

• Have a good driving record (MVR)

• 1 year of similar driving experience (16 ft to 26 ft. Box Trucks) Preferred not required

• Prior Class B CDL experience preferred not required

• Will clear a Background Check

• Will clear a Drug Test - NO Marijuana

• No DUI in the last 3 years

• No License suspensions in the last 2 years

• No major at fault accidents in the last 2 years Driver Responsibilities

• 1-5 stops per night.

• Provide and Operate Liftgate and Pallet jack.

• Must be able to Load and Unload your own truck.

• Delivering palletized products to various Local Post offices

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers and forklifts

- Load and unload cargo from trucks

- Transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel

- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills:

- Valid driver's license (No CDL)with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role

- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations

- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

- Ability to safely load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment

- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients during deliveries

- Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping

- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy items

Pay: $900.00 - $1,540.00 per week

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
