Position Purpose
We are looking for a Box Truck Driver to join Parks Building Solutions! You must have a valid Class C driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be familiar with surrounding neighborhoods. Your job duties will include loading and unloading building materials, windows, doors, cabinets, appliances, etc. with the assistance of a helper, operating a Box Truck, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. Our clients expect their goods to arrive within a specific time frame, so you must be able to work independently and manage your time well.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pre-Trip Inspection
Load and unload truck by hand
Perform basic mechanical duties, replace light bulbs, fuses, etc.
Help pull loads on the lumber yard
Clean Trucks / Refuel trucks
Read and understand delivery orders
Must work well independently and with others
Checking loads before and during delivery
Perform basic mechanical duties, replace light bulbs, fuses, etc.

Able to pick up items and organize them from jobsites
Maintain a safe driving record
Able to read a map and or understand directions

Complete driver logs if needed

Qualifications
Class C license with a good driving record
1-years delivery experience
Must be minimum of 21 years of age
Must be able to operate a hand jack
Excellent communication skills
Lumber or building supply experience is a PLUS!
Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
Working Conditions
Outdoor environment includes rain/snow, heat and cold conditions. May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special programs.

Physical requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat kneel, climb, and reach overhead. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
