Summary/Objective
This position is responsible to maintain and oversee the Yucca Bowl pinsetting machines, lanes, and all related equipment.

- Maintains all equipment, providing routine and preventative schedules for operational efficiency. Work with manufacturer for addressing any defects, operational concerns, and routine preventative maintenance needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Submits requisitions, for manager's approval, for equipment needs
- Communicates operational concerns to supervisor promptly
- Performs electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical work related to the construction, preventative repair, and maintenance of bowling lanes, and ball returns
- Performs disassembly, repairs and replacement of mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils and wiring
- Complies with applicable laws, codes, policies, and procedural manuals
- Promotes a safe workplace by handling equipment and materials as outlined, removing safety hazards and reporting safety concerns immediately to supervisor
- Provides guest service standards with internal and external guests, promoting a pleasant environment
- Meets with supervisor and staff as directed, to maintain open communications
- Other related duties as operational needs require, or as directed
Competencies
- Skilled in the practical application of electronics and mechanics in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment of the trade
- Minimum 2 years prior facilities maintenance experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, sensors, and wiring, etc.
- Knowledge of bowling lane maintenance
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain composure during busy times
- Ability to communicate with Team Members and Management promptly and appropriately
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple Team Members and make sound decisions.
Physical Demands
- Manipulates heavy equipment, tools, and supplies and/or exert force up to 50 pounds; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls on machinery and equipment
- Lifting objects that weigh up to 75 pounds
- Able to stand for 8 hours at a time
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Hours are varied and often on demand as the facility needs change. Schedule is usually 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Minimum 1year Bowling Mechanic experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils and wiring
