Summary
814 Lanes and Games’ Bowling League Coordinator manages bowling alley: Direct activities of team members engaged in providing services to guests and in maintaining facilities and equipment. Assigns alleys for use, issues score sheets, and pushes controls to actuate automatic game-scoring equipment. Records number of games played and collects payment. Inspects alleys to ensure equipment is operative and observes patrons to detect disruptive behavior and misuse of alleys and equipment. Rents bowling shoes to guests. Organizes Bowling Leagues and informs members of league requirements. Prepares and distributes announcements of league activities, collects member fees, and distributes tournament prizes. May also sell bowling equipment. May also hire and train team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain communication with league officers to facilitate and maximize league participation each season.
- Publish, maintain, and distribute accurate schedules and flyers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete league financial records.
- Maintain accurate records of league scores and standings.
- Organize, distribute and track league awards.
- Schedule and attend meetings as the house representative.
- Organize and oversee League Bowler Club Tournaments.
- Assist Center Manager in normal office duties.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on-site assets – pinsetter and bowling lane maintenance.
- Fill in at Front Bowling Desk when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive Bowling experience and knowledge.
- A working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
Education/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
