We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Bookkeeping/Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping tasks and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Invoicing:
- Generate and send invoices to clients or customers in accordance with established timelines.
Expense Tracking:
- Monitor and record all business expenses, categorizing them accurately.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Budget Assistance:
- Contribute to budget development and assist in monitoring adherence.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Degrees in business finance and accounting will be a plus.
- Proven 2-3 years’ accounting assistance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial best practices,
- Knowledge of Quick Books, Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook etc.
