Bookkeeper/Customer Relations

Würkin Stiffs is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Bookkeeper who has expertise in QuickBooks Online to support our office. This role will involve working on a range of tasks related to the company's current and future financial requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain the general ledger and oversee all day-to-day financial transactions (AP/AR).

- Complete bi-weekly payroll.

- Work on Mac operating systems.

- Possess working knowledge and expertise in Excel.

- Assist in maintaining expense and revenue recognition policies.

- Reconcile and balance all credit card and bank statements.

- Recommend benchmarks/metrics against which to measure the performance of company operations.

- Assist in evaluating and establishing departmental budgets.

- Maintain an orderly accounting and filing system both digitally and physically.

- Assist in processing sales orders from wholesale accounts.

- Oversee the filing of sales tax in multiple states.

- Communicate with customers via email regarding orders, returns, etc.

- Perform data/order entry tasks.

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of relevant experience with Quickbooks Online

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Customer service skills

- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare weekly financial reports, statements, and projections

- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a small dynamic team

Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-4:30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
