BOOKKEEPER / OFFICE ADMIN (PART-TIME)
We are currently seeking a part-time bookkeeper to join our team. This is not a remote position; you would be required to work in the office 15-25 hours a week as needed during business hours. However, days and times are flexible. We are expanding, and this position will turn into a full-time opportunity.
Bunker 27 is a veteran-owned apparel retailer. We have 9 brick-and-mortar locations, e-commerce channels, online and Amazon, and wholesale customers. We are using QuickBooks Online, Shopify, and A2X Accounting Software. The responsibilities for this role would be the following:
- Perform accounting tasks i.e. A/P, A/R, Invoicing, Deposits, Payroll, etc., in QuickBooks Online
- Journal entries and month/year-end close, month-end reconciliations (bank accounts, credit cards, etc.)
- Creating and entering of invoices
- Monthly P&L statements
- Handling purchase orders and matching with invoice
- Reconciling cash deposits and POs from stores
- Managing employee expenses
- Works with CPA firm for all monthly, quarterly and year-end preparation
- Other office duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in QuickBooks Online
- Must be proficient in computers and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Able to perform all accounting tasks with high attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with others
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Accounting degree is a plus
